A snake plant variety with a lot of personality, the sansevieria‚ ballyi‚ is a‚ great choice for indoors: put it in a spot with bright light.

2 or 3 hours of soft early morning or late afternoon sunshine is great too. Near a windowsill is perfect, but these guys will do well even in bright fluorescent office lighting, as long as it's bright enough.
